Led financing strategy and investor engagement for clean-tech consumer goods start-up from Boston, Mass. Deployed a family office/hi-net strategy given the weak venture environment for this market category.

Raised A, B and C rounds enabling company to patent, develop, produce, manufacture, market, sell and distribute its energy-efficient lighting products. Became a founding member of the board of directors.

Established foundational investor relations communication constructs, methods and practices. Continue to act as head of investor relations for the company, allowing the Founder to run the business, elevate leadership talent, and facilitate investors being satiated advocates without need to continually reach out to Founder for information and updates.

Big Win

The last two rounds, a bridge and C, were raised in 2 weeks and 4 weeks respectively. Both rounds exceeded capital raise goals and were funded north of 70% by current investors. THIS is what good investor relations looks like. It is the result of a consistent cadence of outreach, transparency in good times and in bad, and investors engaged in the company to the degree that they are eager to support the rounds.
